Scottas House

Scottas House looks south over Loch Nevis, (Gaelic for Heaven). Facing west on the hill behind the house you can see the Islands of Skye, Eigg and Rhum. The name, “Scottas”, by various spellings, may be derived from the archaic “sgiot”, meaning northernmost. The old farm sat at the northernmost point of Inverie Bay, Loch Nevis.

Today Scottas is a private family house, occasionally available to rent on a self-catering basis. It works well with eight people.
