Knoydart
Location
The “Kingdom of Knoydart” as it was known, is in MacDonald country, on the west coast of Scotland, facing Sleat (on Skye) and the "Small Isles". It is a peninsular with no roads into it, so the place feels very much like an island. The only way into Knoydart is by boat or an arduous trek from either the head of Loch Hourn, around the head of Loch Nevis from Morar, or from the far end of Loch Arkaig.
